Tandy Martindale is hosting a group hike through the Glenelk woods this Saturday, October 01, 2022, at 8:00 AM. Formerly, the area through Glenelk was off limits but has recently been reopened to the folks in Douglass Ranch subdivision.
To get to the trailhead, one must traverse through the Martindale property. Tandy has generously offered to lead this group hike as an orientation of how best to access the trail and to navigate your way through and avoid getting lost in the nearly 230 acres of land.
Interesting to note, the access route is also a part of the proposed emergency egress route.
Lots of great things happening in Douglass Ranch!
What do bring:
Bring water for yourself and for you pet.
A light backpack is recommended.
Dogs are welcome but they must be on leash at all times.
Terrain can get rugged so wear good sturdy shoes.
