What's New

Three New Committees Established

To better serve the needs of the Douglass Ranch community, the Board of Directors established the following committees:

Firewise Committee - the main task of this committee will monitor programs and grants that would provide aid in implementing fire mitigation and maintain our Firewise designation.  

Pond Project Committee - the main task of this committee be to evaluate improvements to the fire suppression pond and to work in partnership with Jefferson County to repair the culvert under Douglass Ranch Dr.

 

CC&Rs Committee - This committee of both current board members and the 2020 board members will supervise the finalization of the CC&Rs draft, and will work to ensure the integrity of community input and interests are preserved. The final draft will be presented to the community at large for review. Soon to be announced.

 

Association Members: New Content

Environmental

Now available through Members Resource, the Environmental page provides field references under the guidelines of our Official Development Plan using source material from the Colorado State Forest Service, Jefferson County, and Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. This page is designed to provide informative tips and advice on how to keep the forest on your property healthy and defend against the spread of tree disease and parasites, as well as best approach to cultivating seedlings. Also includes a field reference on tree species and  forest types.

 

Roads & Grounds

This page has been developed to provide current information on what's happening in the sub-division regarding road repairs, snow removal, and everything else in between. Check Roads & Grounds regularly for developing information. More to come about   the trail leading to open space!
