Board of Directors Meeting Minutes - Emergency Board Meeting

Topic: 

Recent campfile at a neighbor's home which caused a call to the Elk Creek Fire Department.

The Board discussed what the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Elk Creek Fire Department’s responsibility is in setting the fire bans and whether or not there is a system in place for inspecting permitted fire pits.

 

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be contacted for information.
The Elk Creek Fire Department will be contacted for appropriate procedures that should be followed with respect to campfires.

 

The DR attorney will be contacted to determine whether the Board can restrict neighborhood campfires in accordance with Douglass Ranch Rules and Regulations.

 

This matter will be discussed at the next Board meeting.
