Topics addressed include:

 

  • Treasurer reports: revised budget approved.

  • Elk Creek Fire Dept Dinner: Amount of food was not overwhelming.

 

Open Items

 

  • Covenant Amendment and Design Standards status (Electronic dog fence amendment): amendment was filed at Jeffco on 14 April.

  • DRHOA 8 Governance policies: reviewed and edited Douglass Ranch lawyer's draft governance policies.

  • Shaffers Ranch Development: Jefferson County is awaiting revised developer plans.

  • Private Road assessment: Delay Drake Court maintenance another year.  Jeffco to looking into dispatching a crew to Douglass Ranch Drive this summer.

  • DR Hospitality committee requests a petty cash fund.

  • Hite mailbox: No progress.  Another letter is planned with a June 15th deadline.

 

New Business Items

 

  • Fire Mitigation presentation by Elk Creek Fire Department is scheduled for May 29.

  • DR Fire Mitigation Day: Bigger chipper is needed.  June 21 appears to be target date.

  • Jeffo County Assessment of DR HOA land completed.  No taxes are due.

  • Annual Picnic is cancelled due to poor attendance

  • Next Newsletter is early June

  • Driveway Seal Coat for neighborhood to be researched.

  • Recent DR Open Area Fence Repairs: Awaiting a bill from Dan BArth.
